SERIAC is a loose group of Industrial Archaeology societies and related societies in the South East of England. Since 1983, a member society has organised an annual day conference. SERIAC2008 is being organised by GLIAS (Greater London Industrial Archaeology Society). This year’s loose theme will look at those engineers etc who helped make the SERIAC region over the centuries.
SERIAC2008 will be held at the ultra-modern docklands campus of the University of East London situated on the north side of the Royal Albert Dock opposite London City Airport.
